Share a remarkable moment that happened during an AGM you attended.
I had the opportunity to attend the AGM in Paris, a city full of history and elegance. What stood out to me most was the diversity of the attendees—members from different countries, each with their own languages, cultures, and ways of conducting business. Despite our differences, the discussions were incredibly enriching. One of the key topics was the Code of Operations, a vital framework that enhances collaboration and ensures smoother international cooperation. Seeing professionals from various backgrounds come together with a shared goal was truly inspiring.
Share a funny story that happened to you at an AGM you participated in.
During the AGM dinner, we were on a beautiful boat cruising along the Seine River. The atmosphere was lively, and there was an auction that quickly turned into a friendly yet competitive event. Some members got really into it, playfully outbidding each other, which led to lots of laughter. Then, at exactly 9 PM, the Eiffel Tower began to sparkle, adding a magical touch to the evening. It was a moment where business, camaraderie, and the charm of Paris blended perfectly.
What does the AGM mean to you?
The AGM is much more than just a conference; it’s a powerful gathering where cultures meet, ideas are exchanged, and lasting professional relationships are formed. It’s a rare opportunity to witness cross-border collaboration in action—people from different parts of the world, each with their own perspectives and customs, coming together to work towards a common goal. The experience is both enriching and eye-opening, reinforcing the importance of global cooperation in our industry.
