Jefferson Frauches Viana, General Secretary - Regional Director Americas
Jefferson Frauches
Viana’s career in the debt collection industry spans back
to 1985 when he commenced as debt collection manager for a Swiss
Pharmaceutical company Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 1991 a government initiated
change in Brazil’s economic landscape gave Jefferson the opportunity
to establish his own debt collection business. He seized this opportunity
with both hands, and founded Way Back (WB) in June 1991, a local
collection agency based in Sao Paulo.
Since then the provision of high quality financial and credit recovery
services has been a driving force behind WB’s evolution into
a major national service provider, with branch offices now operating
in Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Recife, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba,
Campinas and Fortaleza.
Jefferson has orchestrated WB’s expansion with a highly considered
and strategic approach to growing the capabilities of the business.
Each of WB’s branches gives the capacity to meet client’s
requirements anywhere throughout the country, providing experience
and expertise in the areas of credit reporting, collections and
resolution of related legal issues.
WB’s success in providing high quality services to the Brazil’s
international trade community has seen Jefferson invited to assume
Directorship of International Affairs for ASERC, a national association
for credit recovery companies. WB is extremely proud to contribute
to ASERC in this manner, as the role enables Jefferson to assert
WB’s continual commitment to the Brazilian credit recovery
market.
